Current Users in States where “medical” marijuana is legal:

  1. About 5%are elderly and only 10% of card holders have cancer, HIV/AIDS or Glaucoma
  2. About 90% are registered for illnesses such as headaches and athlete’s foot
  3. In 2012, THC concentrations in marijuana averaged nearly 15 percent, compared to around 4 percent in the 1980s.
  4.  More than 80% of card holders in CA and CO are white men age 17 to 35 with no history of chronic illness AND a history of alcohol & other drug use.
